Incident: Theft

Date of Incident: 26 August 2014

Location: 31000 block of Winterplace Parkway, Salisbury, MD

Suspect: Robert William Holt, 58, Fruitland, MD

Narrative: On 26 August 2014 a deputy began an investigation into the theft of two weed trimmers and a blower off of a landscaping trailer parked at a business in the 31000 block of Winterplace Parkway. The theft was captured on surveillance video and the next day a vehicle and suspect matching the description were stopped by a deputy on U.S. 13 northbound. During the ensuing encounter, the deputy concluded that this subject, identified as Robert Holt of Fruitland, had perpetrated the theft of the tools.

The deputy placed Holt under arrest and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Holt on $20,000.00 unsecured bond.
