Hogan Campaign Reports $2.4 Million Cash On Hand, More Than Three Times Brown Campaign

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The latest finance reports from the Hogan and Brown campaigns for governor show the most competitive race in a generation, with Republican Larry Hogan having $2.4 million cash on hand, handily competing financially with the sitting LG, Anthony Brown, who reported $764,000 cash on hand. Hogan has a commanding cash on hand advantage going in to the final 70 days of the campaign.

Larry Hogan said, "The latest news from the campaign trail has been extremely encouraging. We are working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to change Maryland. The latest finance and polling numbers confirm what we hear on the road every single day: Marylanders demand change and they are going to step up and fight back against the policies that have crushed our state over the last eight years.”

The latest cash on hand numbers come on the heels of recent polling data that show Larry Hogan closer than any Republican in recent history to winning the governor's seat. Earlier this week, the Maryland Republican Party released findings from their latest poll that showed Hogan just three points down from Brown, a statistical tie. Both campaigns began airing general election commercials this week; the Brown campaign reacted to the Hogan campaign's recent successes with a false and misleading attack ad, which sharply contrasted Hogan's overwhelmingly positive one.

Good, lets make sure he gets the most votes.

I know a lot of people will contribute to his campaign, but I think it's more important to contribute to local republican campaigns first.

The dems do not need cash. They have electronic voting machines on their side. All the money in the world won't help Hogan.
