Wall Street Republicans' Dark Secret: If Not Jeb, Hillary in 2016

“If it turns out to be Jeb versus Hillary we would love that and either outcome would be fine."

The dark secret among Wall Street Republicans is they would much prefer a "familiar" big government progressive to an "unknown or untrusted" constitutional conservative. In other words, for many in Wall Street if they can't have Jeb Bush, they'd much prefer Hillary.

Politico’s Ben White and Maggie Haberman report that after conducting two dozen interviews, the off the record consensus amongst Wall Street Republicans is that if Jeb Bush is not the GOP candidate in 2016, Hillary would be far more aligned with their interests than the likes of Cruz or Paul.

Two dozen interviews about the 2016 race with unaligned GOP donors, financial executives and their Washington lobbyists turned up a consistent — and unusual — consolation candidate if Bush demurs, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie doesn’t recover politically and no other establishment favorite gets nominated: Hillary Clinton.

The people need to make sure it is neither!

How about running a Reid/ Pelosi ticket? With that on the table, who could beat them?

Tells you how whacked-out the mainstream republican party has become...and not much different from the Dumocrats!

It obvious, Wall Street would rather have a regulatory environment that favors them (democrats in control) then have a regulatory environment that forces them to compete on a level playing field. (conservatives in control).

"What difference at this point does it make"

Wall Street's government sanctioned rape of the USA is an "act of love".

We the people need to select an outsider, but it will be a tough task running against Big Corporate money and the Main Stream Media.

HEY LEFT REPUBLICANS: The Tea Party is going to kick ur A$$ said...

We The People will make sure neither happen...

Both Parties work against the citizens but Democrats are worse.

If Jeb doesn't run, Republicans are sure to lose the White House again. Jeb's the only Republican in the current field that could get enough Democrats, Hispanics, minorities to cross over.

12:38 So what do we have then if he could actually win (which he won’t). A half-assed milk toast big establishment NWO RINO, which is as bad as a Hillary. Either kick out the left and replace it with the opposite or go home. You will whine then ..."we will lose to the Democrats, wa wa wahhh". Hillary's famous statement of "At this point what difference does it make?" certainly applies here.

Sure.
He will get the Hispanics and other minorities and loose the entire republican base in the process.
No thanks! If Karl Rove decides we get Jeb as the nominee then I will stay home on election day just like I did in 2012
