A pregnancy cessation patch? Now there's an idea!

I am a heavy smoker, and I recently found out I am pregnant. Yes, I know smoking is bad and I put down the pack as soon as I found out. I am struggling to completely quit, though, and I have slipped up once or twice. This sounds like a great idea, but guess what? I work during the week and can't take two hours out of my day to go to something like this. It would be really nice if they offered these types of programs at times when working people could attend. I suppose I'm being punished for not sitting around all day waiting to get knocked up so I can get more and more government hand outs.

To 8:05...c'mon, you are not "being punished" just because this 2-hour discussion is not being offered at a time convenient to you. I'd be shocked if you were not offered smoking cessation assistance by simply calling the Health Dept. directly and explaining your situation. Some proactivity on your part and a little less assumed helplessness would really help you (and your future baby).
