Incident: Most Wanted Arrest 
Date of Incident:   15 October 2012 
Location: 500 block of Prince Street, Salisbury, MD 
Suspect: Thomas Anthony Wood, 62, Salisbury, MD 
                                  
Narrative: On 15 October 2012 at 11:22 PM a deputy from the Wicomico County sheriff’s Office
arrested Thomas Wood of Salisbury on an outstanding warrant for theft that had been open since March
2012. Wood had also been recently featured on the PAC 14 Show, Crime Solvers. Based on tips called in to the Sheriff’s Office, a deputy located Wood at a residence in the 500 block of Prince Street and took him into custody. Wood was wanted in connection with an ongoing theft of scrap metal from a property on Parker Road, also in Salisbury.

The deputy transported Parker to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of
the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Wood on
Personal Recognizance.
Charges: Theft


Incident: Assault 
Date of Incident:   15 October 2012 
Location: Pine Way, Salisbury, MD 
Suspect: Monica N. Sheets, 34, Seaford, DE 
                                  
Narrative: On 15 October 2012 at 10:41 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office
responded to the report of a group of people involved in an altercation. Upon arrival, the deputy met with
a male victim who reported that his live in girlfriend, Monica Sheets, had just struck him in the face. The
deputy observed that the male subject was bleeding from his lip which corroborated the account.

The deputy placed Sheets under arrest and transported her to the Central Booking unit where she was
processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the
Commissioner detained Sheets in the Detention Center in lieu of $15,000.00 bond.
Charges: Assault 2nd Degree


Incident: Assault 
Date of Incident:   12 October 2012 
Location: 700 block of Camellia Road, Salisbury, MD 
Suspect: Darnell F. Cotton, 32, Salisbury, MD 
                                             
Narrative: On 12 October 2012 at 10:34 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office
arrested Darnell Cotton in connection with an assault that happened at the Camellia Road address. Cotton is accused of becoming mad when his girlfriend game to his residence and caught him in the residence with another woman. Cotton allegedly became mad and struck his girlfriend in the face.

Cotton was transported to the Central Booking Unit upon arrest where he was processed and taken in
front of the district Court Commissioner’s Office. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner released
Cotton on Personal Recognizance.
Charges: Assault 2nd Degree


Incident: Fugitive 
Date of Incident:   13 October 2012 
Location: 100 block of Diamond Avenue, Salisbury, MD 
Suspect: Nicholas Joseph Beaver, 21, Salisbury, MD 
                                             
Narrative: On 13 October 2012 at 10:50 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office
located and arrested Nicholas Beaver who was wanted on a District Court Bench Warrant. The warrant
was issued back on 17 September 2012 after Beaver failed to appear in court for a theft case.
The deputy transported Beaver to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of
the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained beaver in the
Detention Center in lieu of $5,000.00 bond.
Charges: Failure to Appear


Incident: Fugitive from Delaware  
Date of Incident:   13 October 2012 
Location: 8000 block of N. West Road, Hebron, MD
Suspect: Thomas Edward Bowen, 3rd, 30, Hebron, MD 
                                             
Narrative: On 13 October 2012 at 10:50 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office
located and arrested Thomas Bowen who was wanted on a felony warrant for Aggravated Assault with a
Weapon by Delaware authorities. Bowen was transported to the Central booking Unit where he was
charged as a Fugitive from Delaware.

Upon an appearance in front of the District Court Commissioner, Bowen was detained in the Detention
Center without bond pending extradition back to Delaware.
Charges: Fugitive from Delaware

I ask this same question again... How can someone be a fugitive from justice AND be listed on a "most wanted" show get arrested only to be let back out on personal recognizance??? It makes no sense to me!!
