Don't even do it then. I've had the same phone for 4 years. It's just for phone calls & texting. I have a computer for internet use.

Not anymore... I have to buy out right or from somewhere else... VZW will screw you something fierce if you upgrade now... They charge a 30 upgrade fee TO EVERYONE NEW or EXISTING... You will be forced to give up unlimited data, and yes the good ole price change jump... Gotta love it... Gotta love paying more for less... Oh and you think this is bad, wait until VZW gets rid of all the phones that are not 4g, good luck with you...

I will allow my contract to go month to month until VZW gets rid of me or month to month or the grandfathered unlimited plan which will be month to month after contract, then I will use smoke signals until I am sued by EPA and the Indian reservation for hurting their feelings...

Gotta love the carriers version of unlimited data... you pay 60 bucks a month for 1gb usage yet it says unlimited data... well they really mean text, and phone calls are unlimited which isn't even considered data yet they still try to deceive you to think that it is...

You all will be screwed by all carriers in a matter of 1 year from the time T-mobile says they have unlimited data, true unlimited...

oh wait, it says unlimited to 2gb of use... truly unlimited huh...

Pre-Paid smart phones are only $45 a month unlimited everything. Why would you want a contract phone

I have had my current cell phone for over two years. I need a phone to keep up with children that are no longer local. From time to time a picture will come through of the grandchildren or a beautiful scene that they know I would love. A text from time to time, but I spend most of my day at a computer why would I feel the need to text?

With each upgrade we become more vulnerable.

We pay $60/month for 2 phones. We are on them contantly and never use up the minutes.
One thing I did do is get rid of texting and voice mail. I can't be bothered and we have no kids who may want those services.

I only upgrade when my phone breaks. Have had my current phone since 07.

I only upgrade once I can't stand my phone any more. It saves money that way.
