Incident: Theft
Date of Incident: 10 July 2012
Location: 7400 block of Richardson Street, Willards, MD
Suspect: Zachary C. Jones, 21, 2012

Narrative: On 10 July 2012
at 1:38 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 7400 block of Richardson Street in Willards for a reported theft. The deputy learned that the resident discovered a television, a DVD player and a revolver were missing from his residence. A subject, who had been temporarily staying there, Zachary Jones, was identified as a suspect by the resident. During the subsequent investigation, the deputy located the television at the suspect’s new residence and during a subsequent interview, Jones admitted to the thefts.

The deputy recovered the stolen property on behalf of the victim. The deputy also placed the suspect, Zachary Jones under arrest and transported Jones to the Detention Center where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Jones in the Detention Center in lieu of $50,000.00 bond.
