32 Reasons Why We Need To End The War On Drugs

The global war on drugs began in 1961, when the UN Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs was established in order to create a "drug-free world."

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime puts out an annual "World Drug Report" wherein they examine trends in drug use and production. However, the report never cares to assess the costs created by the war on drugs itself, which are the real problem to begin with.

I agree in the Libertarian sense...but if they are felons that the felony sticks for a period after election day...because if Obama changes the rules it is about releasing voters not drug offenders or he would have done it long ago

there are to many people making to much money for the war to ever end. lawyers, judges, cops, parole officers, prison guards. talk about killing an industry off!
