Hot Enough For You? Your Electric Fan May Not Be Helping

This might seem counterintuitive if you’ve ever cooled yourself down by the stiff breeze of an electric fan, but a new review published in the Cochrane Library suggests that there’s no good evidence that fans help during a heatwave.

The evaporation of perspiration cools the body and helps regulate internal temperature. Thats a biological fact. An elementary biological fact. ANY breeze or wind hastens the evaporation process. Which, in turn, cools the body. Where do these psuedo-researchers come from?? Not from college, it seems....

They don't.
But, if you place a frozen jug of water in front of the fan, that helps.
