Sussex County Superior Court Judge Richard Stokes Monday heard opening statements in the trial for a 32-year-old Seaford man charged in the death of his 3-month-old daughter; Jason Gallaway is charged with murder by abuse.
In December of 2010, Gallaway told police his daughter fell off his lap twice over a two day period; Gallaway told police that the second time she fell, she landed on her back and stopped breathing; the child died from her injuries at AI DuPont Hospital.
