“Bath Salts” Ban To Be Signed Into Law Wednesday

The legislation that will outlaw Bath Salts has been approved in both chambers of the Delaware General Assembly and will be signed by Governor Jack Markell tomorrow afternoon at 1:30.   Senate Bill 160, which was sponsored by Senator Bethany Hall-Long bans the possession, use, sale or delivery of synthetic bath salts.  The bill also clarifies the definition of “designer drugs” and ensures that there are no gaps in the state’s drug code as new designer or synthetic drugs are created.
