I have read your blog about the election in Pittsville and you are right. The election should be held on November 8, 2011 election day.
I think something needs to be done about this. If you have any ideas let me know.
The election was not even properly advertised like it should have been.

Agreed, leave all the names and personal attacks out of it. the election was held on the wrong day and not properly advertised. this ultimately falls to the commission president whoever it may be. they are the ultimate chief officer of the town.
if the town had an opening for office staff because someone quit...where has the ad been for this help? hire a person and get the job filled.
again no need for personal attacks...just do it right.
The spot and help has been filled and always will be! There were two ladies working there one quit and the other one is doing just fine!
good if one can do it then we should not expect two to be back in and money was saved.
