Death Row Dog Missing From Oregon Pet Hotel

Blue the dog had spent his days locked up in the Albany Pet Hotel, waiting while his death sentence is appealed. Now police say someone climbed the fence at the hotel, smashed a window and helped Blue the dog escape death row.

Good luck to the dog and whoever saved him. Dog bites of babies are more often the fault of the parents rather than the dog. The child should never be put in the position where he could be bit. I cannot reveal alot of details because of HIPPA, but I recently was on a call in Salisbury where a child was bitten because the parent allowed the baby to crawl on the floor around the food bowl of the dog while he was eating. The poor dog appeared to be extremely underfed to begin with. No wonder he snapped at the baby. The dog was killed, when in fact he should have been found a good home, and the parent should have been charged with reckless endangerment. Pathetic!

I agree 10:22; it just happens all the time. Some people should not have pets (AND if they can't take care of pets; heaven help the children! This did not need to happen.

Some people are just to stupid to be allowed to reproduce!

Is this for real? A DOG awaiting death row in a HOTEL? Appeals? What in the world? I agree the dog shouldn't be put down at all but if he was to be put down a quick trip to the vet takes care of that......wow
