Legalize and Regulate Marijuana in a Manner Similar to Alcohol

We the people want to know when we can have our "perfectly legitimate" discussion on marijuana legalization. Marijuana prohibition has resulted in the arrest of over 20 million Americans since 1965, countless lives ruined and hundreds of billions of tax dollars squandered and yet this policy has still failed to achieve its stated goals of lowering use rates, limiting the drug's access, and creating safer communities.

That's because you listened to the govt and further more actually believed them in what they said...

AMEN make it legal and tax it and create jobs at thie same time and then the growers / pickers / pruners / bud pickers will be legal tax paying people instead of pocketing tax free $$$..BUT lets face it. It will never happen a the Legal System is making millions of dollars off it a year in bail $$/ Lawyer $$ / Fines // etc etc..and anyone with common sense can grow it , so the gov. could not 100% control it the way they would want to.
Hell with the price of crops & chickens on the shore ..they could get into the marijuana grow work and make millions and give up nickel and dime money in normal crops and chickens.

I'd rather have marijuana legalized and alcohol banned. Outside the judicial system, it doesn't cause nearly the amount of problems that alcohol does.
