Oh C'mon! You really don't think this is funny? Personally, I'm surprised that a company had the stones to do a commercial like this, but it is funny AND memorable.
As for hoping that G. A. will control the posts and NOT do something like this - SORRY. If I had seen it first, I probably would have put it up. The only reason I say "probably" is because I usually don't do much humor.
However, one of the suggestions we received yesterday was a request for more humor.
I am truly sorry that you were offended. That doesn't make Joe a bigot and I accept the fact that I'm not going to please everybody.

I thought that commercial is hilarious .... makes me want to keep buying VW as i already own many. If someone cant see the humor in VW ad's just do the world a favor and crawl into your cave and dont come out
Mr. G. A. as a moslem I am NOT at all offended by the ad, it's actually quite funny and makes a brilliant selling pitch!! But what's offensive is the "labeling" in your post's title.
You are however entitled to put and write whatever you want, it's your blog, and it's my choice whethter or not I visit your site again.

1:22, generally they post the things that I say. . .and I am not conservative in the least. . .I would say the post contained curse words? I don't feel censored here for the most part so props to SBY for allowing both sides. . .at least in the comments. :o)
Hi 3:15, I am 8:53. I can assure you there were no curse words in my post. I said the clip was funny, but the title was not. I said I hoped G.A. would not post this kind of stuff even though we know Joe does. I guess Joe didn't like it enough to not post it, but G.A. wanted to let everyone know he would have done the same thing, offensive or not. If you think censorship isn't part of this blog, I'm glad for you. I don't find it the same, and I never curse. I just usually disagree with Joe and I guess he doesn't like the logic I present. I think it makes too much sense and someone might actually begin to see the emporer has no clothes. I've even had a post put up when Joe wasn't "on" just to have it taken down when he returned. But it's his blog and he doesn't have to post things that might make him look bad. I get that. And for that reason, this post will likely never see the light of day. Good evening, Joe. Have a great weekend.
