Snow Drifts Caused Biggest Problem In Storm

Years ago the state and county government erected snow fencing on most of the open fields near roadways that had volume traffic and were great help in preventing these drifts.But the good old labor days are gone.
2:49, exactly! you still see many areas of the country with a bit more savy still using those snow fences to this day!
Would you like them on your property? They have to be off the road a bit. They aint going in my field, that's just more stuff to work around. Unless they want to pay me for the use of my field.

and then removed ..hate for u to have to turn the steering wheel in your tractor a lil bit more to avoid the fence to save someones life.. I mean you did say you would do it for a fee...I'm glad my farmer neighbors isn't this guy.
I live on this street. Recognized the area right away. Last year's blizzards, created huge drifts in that area as did this week's snow storm. No sooner did we and neighbors get out one vehicle than another would come along and get stuck - and these weren't small cars either. Thanks to the farmers in our area the roads were made passable and thanks to the road crews who also come by with the plows! We appreaciate all the work you do to keep us moving.
10:54, No fool, they go up early and stay up half the year. What sense does it make to put them up during or after it snow?
With all the fields in this county, they will need miles of snow fencing. Any road that has a field north/west of it, is subject to this kind of drifting.
