Ohio Supreme Court: State Sales Tax OK For Satellite, But Not Cable
Giving an odd boost to cable providers, the Ohio Supreme Court ruled the state could slap a sales tax on satellite TV services even though cable companies don't need to tack the tax on to their packages.
Funny how when the Democrats say they want to tax the rich they really mean business who just pass it on. So when you hear " tax the rich " they're talking about you!
Seems funny they would be allowed to tax for a service that requires absolutely no maintenance or installation costs from the state or federal government? All expenses are covered by the customers and Satellite providers! Cable companies have been ripping off customers for years with high rates and fees and little or no competition! This really does smell of some kind of kick back to some government official. I know here in Wicomico County for cable, its either comcast or nothing!
