It made me look at my Suburban bill @ $4.09 + 5% Refgee + .95 transportation fuel. $190 for 44 gallons. I only use it for the clothes dryer and the cold water heater.
A couple of years ago my son used United and got behind on his bill.I went there and paid his balance off and the Manager was a real ass.I asked what the price was and he quoted me a price which was lower than what my son's bill was.His comment was because younger people sometimes don't pay as regular so they charge more, plus a large monthly finance charge. They are the highest around and there's a lot of difference in the unit price of what Companies charge.Check this out and you will find it's true.
dang it bobby!
United is the very worse business in the area. They ripped off my inlaws and never refunded the gas in the tank that they were asked to remove. They do not have their own gas supply and depend on other companies for fuel. They are a company of attitudes.
Call Delmarva Oil they're the best company in town.Very nice people to deal with. They have always been there when i needed them.
If you're not using the fuel as your primary HEATING source, you will pay more - a lot more! I don't care which company you call, they all work this same way.
We live in laurel and we use Aero Energy for oil at 3.09 this last delivery BUT the oil is our primary source of heat.
I get my propane from Cato and I just got a delivery at 2.99 a gallon and i just checked to make sure I don't have any of those other fees. They only charge me for the gas, no other delivery charges or fees. I do use it for primary heat and they have always taken care of us!
United continuously changed our propane charges without notice or reason. Also, despite our contract very clearly stating that we would call them for a fill when we needed it, they would show up whenever they felt like it (in other words when prices were high) and fill our tank. very shady operation.
I have to agree - so far nothing but good experiences with Delmarva Oil. Kudos to them.
You need to go see Fred Rogers at Cato Gas & Oil.
People I know with propane heat are using electric heaters this yr because of the crazy rates.
