Unbelievable.
I couldn't believe they actually did it.
Till I thought about BPT and her cabal-- then it all made sense.
Friends of Barrie... that's why the city would ignore a cash offer of $250,000 and take $150,000 (or was it actually $100,000 as reported by the DT?)

i think it shouldve gone to auction and to the highest bidder

It should go to the most well connected business person in town. Someone with connections to the city council members or some rich person who can tell one or two council members how to vote etc. That way an important person can get it at a nice price and use it to make a lot of money. It is just good busines sence. Also why not take the Homelands money? If we dont take it someone else will. Right? get our fair share I say.

the fire boat is a waste of money. how much water is around salisbury? I dont see any buildings that could benefit from an expensive fire boat.

Since when does city property of any kind not go to public auction for sale? I'm sorry but that's the only way to be fair about the sale.

What's different? The did the same thing with the old City Hall that use to be SBD Hq and the land along the river front.

Let Pete Richardson sell it to the highest bidder. He's the best auctioneer around!

Anonymous said...

It should have been auctioned.

Anonymous said...

Yes it is doing us no good sitting empty.

The only support the 3 musketeers deserve is that of a trap door which should be opened when the rope is firmly attached around their necks.

No, it is a fire station and it needs to stay a fire station.

Someone is either getting a kickback or their back scratched. Dirty politics at its best.

Jack Johnson, Marion Barry, Charles Rangle, Sheila Dixon, Larry Young, Gary Comegys, Jim Ireton and Shanie Shields have in common?

No, they are not all black, but good guess. They are all criminals, crooked politicians and Democrats!!

Gary Comegys couldn't even keep the little store on the corner of 13 and Naylor st. making a profit,How and the heck is going to run a city. But i am sure he didn't sell for pennies on the dollar either...
