Another Very Important Bill Passed The Senate On Monday

House Bill 1043 introduced by Delegate Norm Conway and others passed, thus for the first time ever codifying the existence of Child Advocacy Centers and providing state funding, when available, will be forthcoming to the smaller CAC(s) including Sarah’s House (formerly Wicomico CAC).

The codification of CACs into state law is a very, very large step forward by the State Legislature, and the possibility of state funding is a huge matter for the smaller CACs.
