Incident: Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute
Date of Incident: 30 November 2009
Location: 30000 block of Danwood Drive, Delmar, MD
Suspect: Jeffrey Bruce Morrison, 58, Delmar, MD
Narrative: On 30 November 2009 deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office served a Search and Seizure Warrant at the residence of Jeffrey Bruce Morrison in Delmar, MD. During the search of his residence, deputies located what they recognized as a marijuana manufacturing operation. Seized from the attic were thirteen marijuana plants being grown indoors under artificial light. The grow operation was equipped with both hydration and heat. Located elsewhere inside the residence were several separate bags of marijuana, ten smoking devices and a set of digital scales. Also located was a notebook that detailed both Morrison’s growth and distribution of marijuana.
Morrison was taken to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Morrison was detained by the Commissioner in the Detention Center in lieu of $50,000.00 bond.

Incident: Assault 1st Degree

Location: 600 block of Lancaster Court, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: David Serrano, 26, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 29 November 2009 at 1:36 AM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported altercation that occurred in a residence in the 600 block of Lancaster Court. Upon arrival, the deputy met with a female victim who advised that she was awoken by husband shortly before she called authorities. She stated that she and David became involved in a verbal altercation when David retrieved a knife from the kitchen, grabbed her by the back of the hair, put the knife to her throat and threatened to kill her.
After an investigation, the deputy placed David Serrano under arrest and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, he was detained in the Detention Center by the Commissioner in lieu of $40,000.00 bond.
