Your View: City of Salisbury needs a new chief of police
It is time for Salisbury's police chief to go.
He does not have Salisbury's best interest at heart. He is only looking out for himself -- and has been that way since he was hired.
The original job posting had set a salary range and required residing in Salisbury city limits.
He demanded a higher salary and refused to live inside the city limits.
Say goodbye, chief.

Thank You that was well put.
AMEN! Get rid of the bozo. He has no interest except to collect a paycheck. We deserve better.
It's a shame that it had to be said by a resident of Berlin, but recognizing that there are MANY people who don't actually LIVE in Salibury who LOVE Salisbury....myself included...I work on the Downtown Plaza, and my spouse was born and raised in the city. We love it dearly, and feel pained that we fear being there.
Having said that, I have no hesitation speaking out in favor of positive changes, and hope that the sheer number of Friends of Salisbury, whether residents or not, show up on Monday and let the Mayor and Council know just how much we DO care.
Short and to the point. Thank you Mr. Romblad. Not sure if Chief will be calling you since you live in Berlin but then again as he believes he is King of the Eastern Shore, it is quite possible.
9:44, it's not King, it's Gestapo.
Mr. Romblad, please come to the GOB here at 5:00 and say that! We know other areas are threatened by our crime, too!
1005: You are right!
