Nevertheless, the Gangs are marking their territory right in the face of the Salisbury Police Department and you know what, they're winning. The pictures don't lie Folks. I'll bet those cameras on the Plaza are working just fine for you though, right Chiefy?
I've said it in the past and I'll repeat it again, this guy SUCKS at what he does. Remember Folks, a MURDERER is still on the streets and hasn't been caught yet. There's also been no update on that murder as well. Oh, that's right, it will go away now because the Daily Times isn't printing anything more about it. I forgot, that's how it works around here.
Actually, now that Salisbury News is around, things are changing quite a bit accountability wise, wouldn't you agree?

Joe SPD needs to do just like annapolis did. More officers specifically desognated to help the proactive unit thats already struggling with the crime and gangs. Add a canine unit to assist the drug unit. How can there be a drug unit and no drug dog to help, that's ludacris. How can the council/mayor/chief expect those guys to do their jobs if they wont give them the man power or tools to do it.
I agree with you joe. I will use more polite opinions. I don't think he knows how to police a small city. Maybe he was good at what he did in Baltimore County. I don't know but it is not working here. Joe why don't you do some research on this name. Edward Guthrie, he was the second in command and acting chief under Coulbourn. He was a great person and a great leader. I've heard he is coming back to the area from out west wear he was a succesfully Chief. Maybe we can convince him to put his name in the hat after, Tilghman leaves and Webster gets fired.
The crime rate is likely to go down when 90% of the population is afraid to go outside of their homes after dark. Restaurants are feeling the pinch from both sides, economics and fear of criminals in the parking lot. That means more business closings and more unemployment that drives crime rates even higher.
Business is down in many restaurants and there will be quite a few closings within the next year. You read it here first.
The upside is that out of town restaurants like Station 7 and others out of the city limits are picking up some of that business. Good for them.
Sucks to be a resident in an All American Shit Hole City like Salisbury. My for sale sign is up, if I don't get what I want for my house, I'll rent to 15 freakin' Asians, maybe 40 Mexicans in a house this size. My neighbors told me to go ahead, they don't plan on staying here either.
I don't mean to sound racist, that is the way they live in their countries of origin, screw Salisbury just like they have screwed the residents here for so long.
The Tilghman/Comegys train wreck is not far up ahead. Vigilante justice is just about a last resort and not far off. I always carry an ice pick in a sheath, never know when I may need it to break a piece of ice off of the block, or break a piece of it off in somebody's ass.
If the city dares write you a code citation for anything, just make a three block loop around your neighborhood with someone current on code violations and take pictures and write down addresses even go as far as looking up the deed to include the owners name or names, I bet you find a dozen or more, some worse than yours. Send the pictures and names (save copies just in case they get lost, you know?) then to code and compliance with copy's to all council members and one to the head douche bag.
If they want to be busy lets keep them busier than they want to be. One code violation equals another, justice for all you shit bags at the Bat Cave in the GOB.
There was a time when the Eastern Shore was run by the Watermen and Farmers. Nobody messed with the locals. If they did they paid the price. Maybe with the Watermen and Farmers taking a big hit on the monitary side of the scale we should fire the SPD and hire the Watermen and Farmers to get our town back.
I really miss activity in the local establishments back in the day.

7:06 has the right idea. Specialized task forces for drugs, gangs, prostitution, and even the graffiti! Of course, that means money has to be spent on a real police force with a leader who has the nads to stand up to opposition (and the mare if she's still around). First of all boys and girls this is not gang graffiti, it is tagging. Yes it is still graffiti but not gang related. 7:06 said it best, it's great that SPD has this unit, but if they are not staffed correctly and not given the tools needed to do their jobs, how much can they expect from them. The mayor, chief, and the counsel are clueless to what these officers need to do their jobs.
