One of the greatest signs a Blog is doing well is the comments. As I have stated in the past, ever since I toned things down on here, I have been deleting/rejecting a ton of comments. The average of such is about a hundred per day.
That being said, let me give you an idea of how well the comments have been coming in just over the past 72 hours.
On Tuesday we had 283 comments. Wednesday we had 256 comments and up until 11:00 AM today we've already received and accepted 96 comments. I want to thank ALL of you for participating each day and sharing your thoughts.
You see, Barrie Tilghman, Mike Dunn, Gary Comegys, Lynn Cathcart and Shanie Shields called us the Dirty Dozen. Heck, the comments alone clearly show that's just NOT the case at all. The thousands upon thousands of people visiting this Site every day are becoming more comfortable knowing they will not only NOT be known as to who they are, they're feeling more comfortable sharing their opinions without fear of retaliation.
If you have something to say, please do. Blogger will never give out your information to someone like Barrie Tilghman unless you threaten to harm someone and I post it. You have every right to share your thoughts and this is what made America so great.
So thanks for the support everyone and thanks for sharing your opinion. This Administration needs to know we're a force to be reckoned with and that force shouldn't be just Joe Albero. It should be about all of you.
Oh, and for those people who want to claim I'm the one posting all these comments, get a life! I am FAR too busy to play that game, hence the 25 to 30 posts per day, the moderation of comments all day and night and then going out, getting the stories, taking pictures, writing the stories, well, you get my drift. I'M WAY TOO BUSY FOR THAT!

Hey Joe,
Love your blog but I'm a bit surprised that you haven't been out to the Sharptown Firemans Carnival yet. Hopefully you can find time to cover that and enjoy some good family fun.

Have you changed your stance Joe? I recall reading several posts where you are upset that people post comments and do not give their real name like you do.
Keep up the good work!
I would love to see everyone use their names as I believe it adds credibility to their comment. However, whatever works for you.
Joe, IMO you do your "very best" work here when you leave "your" personal side out of it, or as you said "tone it down". I love all you do for Salisbury and all your hard work and I commend you on continuing to follow the "toning down" of personal feelings etc....
I'm also very grateful that you do take the time to monitor and flush out the cursing, bad-mouthing, etc. b/c when I used to read it after bout the second nasty personal comment, I would close the whole blog and say to myself I don't need all this drama. A recent prime example was the obviously personal problem between the 2 women and the motorcycle/child thing. Total drama and childish but thats how little things can get way out of hand.
Neway, thank you Joe, you are making our town of Salisbury better with everyday you provide this blog to us!!!!
I use my name, I pay the price too.
Oh hell I gotta get off of here, I see a rouge thunderstorm on it's way.
What's a rouge thunderstorm?
A big'un, looks like it's passing the bury now.
