Panera employee fired after exposing mac'n'cheese recipe

BALTIMORE (WBFF) - It was a bad day for a Panera Bread employee who filmed a now-viral video of how the chain prepares its mac and cheese.

It seems Internet fame may have cost her her job.

The video, posted on the social media platform TikTok, shows frozen bags of Panera's white cheddar macaroni and cheese being warmed up in hot water, then emptied into a bowl.

anyone who has ever worked fast food or even in a cafeteria type setting, knows this is how the majority of the food is prepared. It doesn't make it any less appetizing. It's just a quick way to prepare food.

Like a lot of fast food establishments, most of the food is pre cooked so you are just as well off to buy you food in the supermarket and then heat it up at home. Very little is made fresh anymore.

It comes in a bag from a mass production food factory. Does this surprise anyone?

I suppose the problem here is that Panera pretends to be something better than what it is, and now they are mad because this person exposed them for being nothing more than a gussied up Subway.

Pretty sure their soup comes in a bag too.

Yeah Chick-Fil-A does the same but they boil their bagged food in Holy water.

1st ingredient? I wanna say Salt. Panera's food is gross. So is Starbucks. In fact most fast food is simply disgusting. Hold the spit.

1. Insert dish in microwave.
2. Wait for timer to go off.
3. Remove dish from microwave.

Panera is an over priced sandwich shop. Chick Filet beats it by a mile

I think Panera has its own commisaries for each region and the food is delivered each day or so. So Panera food is made by panera.

Put frozen bag in hot water. Remove when warmed up. Open bag. Dump in bowl.

Serve.

Enjoy!
