Sine Die like no other. Busch's death likely to overshadow final day of session

The House of Delegates will return to the State House at 11 a.m. Monday.

They will likely work until midnight when the balloons drop. During that time they will speed through remaining bills they wish to pass.

They will return without Maryland Speaker of the House Mike Busch, who died Sunday after battling pneumonia.

While there are many issues to be settled — changes to hate crime laws, alcohol licenses at racetracks and a new mental health prevention unit inside county schools are just some — the death of Maryland’s longest-serving speaker is expected to overshadow the day.

I'm sorry mr Busch padded but. Why was he still on office. He knew before the session started that he was old and in failing health. But, like many others, he refused to step down and let someone in better health take his position. Power is addictive and mr Busch was an addict.

They just won't publicize the damage the Democrats and Hogan has done to Maryland tax payers as much.
