Breaking News: Senator Mitch McConnell conceded defeat on the latest G.O.P. plan to repeal Obamacare, scrapping a planned vote days before a key deadline

Senator Mitch McConnell on Tuesday officially pulled the plug on the latest plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act, telling senators they will not vote on the measure and effectively admitting defeat in the last-gasp drive to fulfill a core promise of President Trump and Republican lawmakers.

Well, Arizona, with McCain's health problems he probably won't run again. And even if he does, REPLACE him. I didn't like this healthcare plan either, but talk about not fulfilling your promises!

The Republican establishment is still fighting this ground swell of American true conservatism. I only hope Trump can continue to force these people to change or leave.

He has 5 more days to work on details to swing the needed votes, and has decided to give up instead. Trouble is, We, the People hate no clue what is in the Bill in the first place.

One thing IS for certain, it's a plan to keep our health insurance companies and doctors run by a bunch of government employees who have absolutely NO medical knowledge, save for a very small minority, Andy & Rand.

Just let Obamacare implode, I've been forces to change companies every year for the last 3 years, so nothing is working as is.

If I heard correctly, the President tweeted something to the effect that they'd voted many times to repeal it when Obama was still around, but now that a president is in office who will sign the bill, they've lost their courage! Those Republicans with false courage should hear from residents of their states! What a crock!

If they would come up with a plan that helps Americans not hurts them, then they would get the votes of Republicans and Democrats. Congress is not showing any care or compassion for the public they work for.

I don't see what's so difficult. Write a bill with one or two sentences, Obamacare is hereby null and void. That's it no more.
