A Viewer Writes: Stabbing In Salisbury?

Joe, I was just told that a person was stabbed to death last night in Salisbury (by his girlfriend), but have heard NOTHING more.

Are you talking about the East Road incident? I'snt that like the second or third homicide out of the complex this year?

Happened a few days ago

No, Chief Duncan called the incident a misunderstanding ...she said people do not stab each other intentionally

Duncan said the knife did the stabbing and therefore can't be arrested. Nothing to see here.

If I had no other choice but to live in salisbury, I'd stab myself.

Are you sure it wasn't self defense? Was the knife an ordinary kitchen knife which is legal and not a switchblade? This is how it does not get reported; you are correct, nothing to see here.

I feel a long, hot summer coming.

There is a need for a new law in the Republic of Maryland on knives. Background checks on purchases, waiting periods, and blade size. Also, if it is made with black plastic, and looks menacing, it has to be banned.
Like the chief says, knives stab people, no one would willingly stab someone, the knife is the guilty one!

So I must have gotten lost some where along the way. I though I lived in Salisbury MD. Turns out I'm in the Banana Republic.
