U.S. Cities See Unexplained Rise In Violent Crimes This Year

CHICAGO (AP) — Violent crimes — from homicides and rapes to robberies — have been on the rise in many major U.S. cities, yet experts can’t point to a single reason why and the jump isn’t enough to suggest there’s a trend.

Still, it is stumping law enforcement officials, who are seeking a way to combat the problem.

“It’s being reported on at local levels, but in my view, it’s not getting the attention at the national level it deserves,” FBI Director James Comey said recently. “I don’t know what the answer is, but holy cow, do we have a problem.”

Americans have grown accustomed to low crime rates since a peak in the 1990s. But law enforcement started seeing a spike last year that has continued unabated. What’s unusual, however, is that it’s not happening everywhere. Chicago and Los Angeles are seeing homicides on the rise, but other places like Miami and Oakland are not.

The reason is - Obama. Poor economy, no job creation, turning people against each other, people have little opportunity and the future is bleak. This not rocket science.

To say it is not rocket science is to imply that our leaders do not understand why this is happening, it is by design not a misunderstanding or a lack of knowledge in the subject but full well knowing they seek to destroy the very fabric of America.

Police officers are afraid to do their job because of fear of being sued and Obama's political correctness.

Very well said, and so true!

4:01PM: and that is how I want it, cops to be afraid of being sued, and rightfully so... They are the only people who can seek out to murder you and have immunity of that murder, even if he doesn't use the pussy phrase "I was in fear of my life"... Cops should be sued, and it should be easier for us to sue them...

@4:39.... and YOU'RE part of the problem.

356 is right. Its an outright attack by the globists to destroy everything good, and usher in the New Age. However the seeds were planted many decades ago.

Blacks are doing crime more because cops are not going to stop them and be called a "Racist" for arresting them.

4:39 Apparently you wish for a lawless society. Look at the numbers. The crime rate for blacks vrs other races is 25x. The white cops do indeed fear law suits if they are involved with a black person. Obama, Sharpton, and Jackson and the MSM will see to that.

No jobs equal less taxes which equal less welfare.

It's not "murder" if you pull out a weapon...it's you begging for a hot lead injection.

My guess is that the FBI needs a lot more money.

Probably why they made the report. Greedy bastards.

They hear voices telling them to do bad things. Some listen to those voices and act on them while others, such as I, reject those voices.
