Where's D-Day?

This is our 365 day planner calendar from my workplace.

But Ramadan makes the PC list?

You need a more inclusive planner. A lot happened on June 6th over the years. One of them was the creation of the NBA.

Your calendar was not created exclusively for the Eastern Shore, where we admittedly don't have a lot of Muslims. First day of Ramadan is actually a useful thing to know, as Ramadan affects the daily schedules of observant Muslims, which in turn affects some of the users of this calendar ... you can't schedule lunch meetings during Ramadan if you have observant co-workers, for example.

D Day, which happened 72 years ago, is of little importance in planning our daily lives in 2016.

Dismissing significant events in American history is exactly what the anti-American, and obviously you, progressives are doing in order to paint the US as an evil force. Not a positive force in world history

Ha ha, 6:13. You don't have a clue who I am. What, exactly, did I say that was anti-American or that painted the US as an evil force?

In fact, I am proud of being an American, but wish that some of my fellow countrymen would be just a little bit more open-minded.

12:32 just put us in Burkas already!

12:32 - most of us don't give a flying fart about slimes - as long as they keep to themselves! When they come out and start foisting their crap on the rest of us - we'll need to start pushing back with 5.56, 7.62, and .50 caliber sticks!

Calendars usually only have holidays on them. Maybe they should start putting history on them so people can learn something!

Does your workplace just happen to be ECI?

Calendars have lots of different things on them, some have cartoons, some have jokes, some have inspirational sayings, there are even ones that tell historical facts for each date, just too many different ones to mention. There is no calendar conspiracy.

If you want to track holidays it is probably good to have one that tracks lots of holidays and keeps you up to date even if it is not a holiday you celebrate. The last time I checked D-Day was not a holiday but an historical fact... hysterical fact for some of you. My personal preference is a calendar that tells the phases of the moon.
