RIGHT--who said its non credible. So it took an hour and a half to thoroughly search the building. I'm about to start making some noise over this. WHERE IS DHS? I want to know what qualifies some school administrator to know if a bomb threat is credible or not. Perhaps they are the ones behind this?

I agree with 1125. Who makes the determination about what is credible and non credible? Fredrickson? And how is instruction going to continue? Are teachers being notified?

11:25 maybe it was the case of some student who called the threat in using a cell phone while in the school's restroom or something along those lines is my guess.

@11:44 Local LE is the ones declaring it a NON CREDIBLE threat - not the schools or the Board of Ed!

there has to be info that the public isn't getting and in this case we need to have all the info available. there is a reason for all of these false alarms, if they are to desensitize us and make us skip protocol in favor of blowing off the threat, then it appears that they have accomplished their goal in wicomico county. searching the school for a bomb while the kids are in the building is ridiculous and shoddy. sooner or later something will come of all these threats. and the kids in wicomico county will be sitting at their desks waiting to get blown up, bravo wicomico bd of education

You really think the school administrators are behind this? Really? I have a child in one of these schools so I have as much concern as anyone else in the community. But why in the world would you insinuate that if you have no basis for it? If you spent some time reading instead of typing you would know that these threats are not just in our community. So you think all the administrators are in it together? Really, yea go make some noise and spread some more ridiculous non credible ideas. Actually maybe you could call DHS and let them know I am sure they have a hotline. Crazy!

Dear 11:52,

Your comment is spot on and correct. Local law enforcement advises the school system in these matters. Understandably, parents are worried, upset and concerned as they should be. However, with the breadth and sophistication with which this is being done points to a much larger problem that is presumably being addressed by law enforcement on many levels. From my experience school systems rely on advice and training from law enforcement in these situations, and rightfully so.

Regards,

Paladin
