I keep telling you sheep --- THIS is the standard operating procedure for today's cop. He SLAPPED an innocent citizen!! Then BRAGGED that he could and WOULD do a lot worse.
He should be charged with assault...imagine if the CITIZEN slapped the cop. OMG! Prison. Maybe beat to death.
Do you think the "I can do anything I want" badge is a urban myth or something?
Protect and serve, my ass.

This officer needs to retire. The stress of properly responding to citizens and keeping his activities within the confines of the law and appropriate behavior has obviously taken him to another level, one that's not in keeping with good policing.

"In 1999, the town of Wilton and Saratoga County paid $6 million to settle a lawsuit filed by the family of a 45-year-old man left paralyzed when a patrol car being driven by Glans smashed head-on into the other vehicle, according to a Times Union article on the case.

Douglas H. McEachron suffered critical brain injuries and a federal jury found Glans was negligent in the crash.

The deputy was responding to a 911 call and driving close to three times the posted speed limit around a sharp curve on Smith Bridge Road in Wilton when he lost control of his vehicle. Glans crossed into the oncoming lane and smashed head-on into McEachron's car." From the Albany Times-Union.
