Theresa Smith, a member of the Anaheim Community Coalition, which aims to improve police oversight, said the city's Hispanic community has made more of an effort to improve relations than the police have, even with the appointment of a Hispanic police chief last year. Smith said not everyone in the community is inclined to call police for help. In February, Anaheim announced it will test a public safety board with nine residents who will review public safety budgets, practices and incidents such as police shootings. Police spokesman Robert Dunn said the department has been making strides in improving relationships with all the city's communities.

Why do we have to make race the primary job qualification? Wasn't that what all the race riots in the 50's and 60's about?

Didn't we decide that it was more the quality of character? And being qualified to do the job effectively?
Now that may not be PC, but I'm thinking this is smoke and mirrors in perpetuity to distract us from the total Socialist takeover of the Country by Obama and cronies.
They don't become cops, teachers, doctors etc because they either don't respect the profession or can't do it. Not societies fault, its their fault.
Don't hire because of their qualifications, hire because of their skin color. Genius.

The only way to let these idiots get these jobs is by dumbing down the exams, then what kind of employee are you getting, a stupid one that normally wouldn't even get the job of sweeping the squadroom.

You said. But now thanks to the Democrats and the Media you will now see more mandatory quota's.
I know quite a few police officers on non white heritage but for some reason the guh heeto people still don't connect with them. They refer to them as Uncle Toms.
I strongly believe in diversity, but not a qualification for the job.
