WASHINGTON -- A woman in Cheverly, Maryland has been charged in connection with the deaths of her two children.
Sonya Spoon is being held without bond, according to Prince George's County Police officials.
The Cheverly Police Department this morning confirmed the deaths of two children, ages 3 and 1, and had been investigating the deaths as a homicide.
Corporal Bernard Jones, a detective with Cheverly police, says police received a call around 2:13 a.m. Sunday for an unresponsive person at a home in the 6200 block of Forest Road in Prince George's County. When police arrived on the scene, they found two unresponsive children; both were pronounced dead at the hospital.
