Blacks Must Confront Reality

Though racial discrimination exists, it is nowhere near the barrier it once was. The relevant question is: How much of what we see today can be explained by racial discrimination?

This is an important question because if we conclude that racial discrimination is the major cause of black problems when it isn't, then effective solutions will be elusive forever. To begin to get a handle on the answer, let's pull up a few historical facts about black Americans.

In 1950, female-headed households were 18 percent of the black population. Today it's close to 70 percent. One study of 19th-century slave families found that in up to three-fourths of the families, all the children lived with the biological mother and father. In 1925 New York City, 85 percent of black households were two-parent households. Herbert Gutman, author of "The Black Family in Slavery and Freedom, 1750-1925," reports, "Five in six children under the age of six lived with both parents." Also, both during slavery and as late as 1920, a teenage girl raising a child without a man present was rare among blacks.

I would like to think that there are black leaders in this country who understand this. Ben Carson comes to mind, Herman Cain, Allen West, and so on.

That is the only way things will change.

Its now considered "racist" to publish negative facts and statistics about blacks. This article is "racist". Its why it is now a catch 22 situation where the problem can never be addressed, because it is racist to discuss. It has become a problem to be ignored until the "victims" deal with it themselves.

If telling the truth is now considered racist then people should be proud to be called one.

Truth be told.....:

Most folks can tell without looking at the person...attitudes, actions, lack of civility, vehicle (and how it is driven), and their choices in entertainment all give it up long before you see or hear....all of these have some level of 'that just isn't right' to it.... One of their own, Bill Cosby (successful PhD by the way) recognized it and called it out.

It's not discrimination - when you really don't want to participate! It's not discrimination when you use your own desire to be different as an excuse - and then complain about it!
It's not discrimination when you alienate 40% of the population within seconds intentionally through your own actions and words!

Reality...:
Quit your whining!
Contribute to society!
Be responsible for your own actions!
Act like a citizen not a victim!

The sad thing is if another black person makes remarks about other black ppl aka "cobsy" black ppl don't have a problem with it but when a white person says anything its racist.... stop the double standards. This ends when they break the trend that started so many years ago.But I fear Jesus will come back before that happens.

Bell Curve: Intelligence and Class Structure in American Life. When this book, that came out in 1994, used the scientific method to explain the correlation between intelligence and class (as it turns out, race) the scientific method was pronounced, by all the liberals and race cultures that were not favorably presented in the book, to be bogus. Apparently it is the very best objective method of examining any issue other than race, according the the liberal and racist mindset. Again, they are not concerned with facts and statistics, only the politics of race. Its about power, not objective change to make things better. Democrats get their power from the way things ARE, not from making things better.

Its funny 4:21 PM. Poor people vote for the democrats overwhelmingly. Why would the democrats want to legislate anything that would change poor people into not-poor people. The democrats best way to stay in power is to keep their constituents poor. All of their policies GIVE poor people money, but they are still poor (no assets or jobs) And the poor people are not smart enough to see this......
