Incident: Disorderly Subject / Warrant Arrest

Location: 31000 block of Tri-County Way. Salisbury, MD
Suspect: John Kendrick Durant, 41,Columbia, MD
Narrative: On 9 July 2014 at 5:00 AM, a deputy responded to the bus station located on Tri-County Way for the report of a disorderly subject yelling at fellow patrons and employees. Upon arrival, the deputy identified John Durant of Columbia, MD as the individual causing the problem.Upon running a query of Durant, the deputy discovered an open warrant for Durant’s arrest from Howard County, MD. The warrant was issued back in March 2014 after Durant failed to appear for a Driving Suspended case.
The deputy arrested Durant and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Durant in the Detention Center in lieu of$2,500.00 bond pending transfer to Howard County.
Charges: Failure to Appear
