Parents Of Trayvon Martin In DC For Racial Profiling Briefing

WASHINGTON - The parents of Florida teen Trayvon Martin were in Washington D.C. flanked by members of Congress. It was a show of support for the family and a call for justice in their son's death.

"Of course my heart is broken, but it breaks even more to know that we have not gotten justice yet and that this man [George Zimmerman] has not been arrested for shooting and killing my son,” says Sybrina Fulton, Martin’s mother.

Before they addressed the media, Martin’s parents testified in front of a group of lawmakers including Rep. Shelia Jackson Lee, Rep. John Conyers, Rep. Frederica Wilson, who represents the district where Martin lives, and Rep. Corrine Brown, who represents the area where the Sanford Police Department is.

"We’vegot to make sure that what has happened in Sanford, with the police department and how they handled this situation never happens again in the Untied States of America," says Rep. Brown.

Where were Cardin all these other members of congress when here in Wic Co, police held off arresting Woolford until the investigation was complete?
Little children like Jamal Woolford Jr mean nothing to them. Absolutly nothing!

Now reports are surfacing that Trayvon had beaten up a bus driver before, had been found with burglary tools on him and with stolen jewelry.
Not to mention his multiple school suspensions.
You live by the sword and you die by the sword.

I would suggest everyone be patient until all comes out. It is too soon and we do not know all the facts. Like in any profile all over the news, wait, it will all become clear.

Innocent until proven guilty. Trayvon was no saint. He attacked the man. Broke his nose and knocked him to the ground. Then he was on top of Zimmerman beating his head against the road. What would you have done to get out of that situation.

Next time you find yourself in a GATED community, you are new there and don't know anyone, no one knows you, a friendly wave can to much to soften suspicions.

Too late for this kid but learn from this.
