Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Ill., lost his right to speak on the House floor after he violated rules by putting on a hoodie and sunglasses in honor of Trayvon Martin, the Florida teen shot last month.
"May God bless Trayvon Martin's soul, his family and -- [inaudible]" Rush said as he was removed from the House floor this morning for wearing a hoodie.
Rush was wearing a grey hoodie under his suit jacket. He took off his jacket, pulled the hood over his head and put on sunglasses while saying "racial profiling has to stop, Mr. Speaker. Just because someone wears a hoodie does not make them a hoodlum," he said.

How funny is it that he's from Obama's home state! Shows the class of people that represent the state! Ethic's violation that should expect and deserve dismissal.

Glad they shut him up before he made more of a fool of himself. People like him need to be protected from making asses of themselves for their own good.
OMG-These ghetto people can turn the most somber of occasions into a circus. Like then they start shooting at each other at funerals even! It's not only blacks but whites who do these kind of things too so it's not about race but more about being low class.
What a symbol to be remembered by-a hoodie. Martin's not being remembered for his community service or for his academic achievements nor for his good deeds but by a........hoodie!
It has gotten to the point of being commical.
Can he be drug tested? Needs to be.
