Two Year Later and Millions of Dollars spent on getting a hand out from the feds for meeting the goals and now costing the tax payers millions more a year to run it and WHAT has it stopped ?? Studies have proven that the s.o.r. is so over bloated now with the new laws that it is if anything a waste of tax payers money as we do not know who the real animals are on the list as you can get caught peeing in public or hiring a hooker and get caught and be on the list ???? Time for a change with the list and a way for those on it to be able at on point in time for ALL who is on it to get off of it , so those who are the must danger to us can be watched more better than those who crimes was over 10- 15 years ago or longer and has not committed any other crimes after that. It could free up officers time , save costs and make the list more effective in tracking those who are real dangers to us.And at this point even Mr. Walsh has said that the Adam Walsh Act needs to be redone as it does not meet the needs as they had thought it would in its form..
As we all know the real push of this act being passed in Md was the Sarah Foxwell case and THIS act would not have stopped her brutal death as this person was not on the list AT ALL. So I guess it was just another feel good ACT that was passed to gain votes and now costing tax payers Millions to enforce and making the list grow in record numbers and this is why MOST States in America will not even consider passing the Adam Walsh Act as it costs more to run it than we get from the feds and does no more to stop these crimes than the laws that was on the books in the first place.

Everything said above is true, and everyone needs to join FAIR to help combat the unfair list. There are people on the "List" that did nothing with kids, as he pointed out. FAIR is a national group made up of concerned citizens, it stands for, Families Advcating Intelligent Registry, look into it.

"FAIR" What would be fair is if you committ a crime YOU go to JAIL then we would not need no useless vote grabbing LISTS at the cost of taxpayers in millions of dollars a year and does nothing to prevent crimes and only to make those on these so called lists become and stay jobless , homeless and then have to committ crimes to survive and end back up in jail and we support them for life at again our expense.
