Disaster Team At Stephen Decatur High School

We're not exactly sure why the Royal Plus Disaster Team is at Stephen Decatur High School but we have been informed they are present with a ton of equipment.

More to come.....

not exactly sure, but most of the equipment is HVAC. Guessing the HVAC units were damaged in the power outage yesterday.

Must say that is impressive. Such a set-up would not even be considered in wicomico.

Well it was because there was no air conditioning in the High School today. Therefore, the students had to breathe in the air from Royal Plus which smelled like a construction site. Even though this was the last day of school and only a half day, the students were still subjected to this, due to having to take finals. That is another reason why final maybe considered being issued during the last week or 2 weeks of school not the last two days...

What's the use of finals if they aren't given at the end? So kids should be done a week or two before school ends and just it around and do nothing?

OMG! No A/C! Go to BMS all year and see what it's like 839. One day did not kill these kids. Get over it.

Quit crying over no A/C i went through my whole life as a kid with no A/C in any of my schools and nobody died ..... when will people grow a set and stop expecting the easiest route without having to accept that not everything in life is always comfortable or easy

Right on 8:38!! I went to first thru 12th grade in schoold that had no A/C. We didn't get
"sick" or suffer "heat exhaustion" or "fatigue". What a bunch of sissies we have as children now. MAYBE if most of them weren't 60-300 lbs overweight, it wouldn't be such an issue. And the "finals"? About as hard to pass as a sixth grade history quiz. Make that a FOURTH grade history quiz. And don't forget, the sun was hotter back then, too.

What they said. And, in 1969, I began a four year stay at the United States Naval Academy and even there we had no AC in Bancroft Hall. (that's the one and only dormitory for you civilian types). West Point had no AC in their dorms, either.
