how are these the 'results' if absentee ballots aren't counted until Thursday?
Joe it would seem your girl Julie didn't make out so well. I believe the result would have been the same even if you didn't blog her.

The state board's results are "way off"? That's a little difficult when they also match the numbers we received last night. There are still absentees, but that's how elections are run.

That's how elections are run. First you get early voting numbers. Then you get the election day numbers. Then they count absentee ballots and provisionals. Then the board certifies the election.
