Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is in Iowa doing last-minute campaigning on behalf of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). During an event in Clive Iowa, Omar explained how her idea of the "American Dream" were shattered once she came to America.
“When I first came to the United States, I remember one of the first things that I saw was homeless people sleeping on the sides of Manhattan when we arrived in New York. And I remember turning to my father and saying, 'This doesn't look like the America you promised.' And my father looked at me and said, 'Hush, child, we are going to get to our America,'" Omar recounted. "Because the America we were shown in the orientation tapes when we were coming here from the refugee camp in Kenya had beautiful homes with white picket fences, happy families eating a full meal in their beautiful living rooms. It had happy children getting on the bus to go to their beautiful schools. It had pictures of amazing malls, megamalls, and had pictures of beautifully built bridges and highways. It was a picture of abundance. Now that is the ideal."
"That is the America we all know we deserve but our reality is full of homeless people. Our reality is full of families who have moms and dads who are going without dinner or lunch or breakfast just so that they can have enough for their children," she explained. "Our reality is full of kids who are showing up to schools that are full of mold and leaking rooftops. Our reality has children who are facing drills every single day to learn about how they can escape being shot in our schools."

The dream is to be able to do. To do for yourself and your family. There are no guaranteed outcomes. Only your ability to do. Limited only by yourself and not infringing on the rights of others.

Go the Hell on back where you came from ASAP. You are not an American unless you are BORN in this Country. You are a GUEST that has a demonstrated allegiance and is in that sense tolerated in the caste of a peaceful coexistence. Sorry if you don't like the drapes. Where you came from, you had NO RIGHTS more especially with your MOUTH. I'm tired of ingrates both foreign and domestic who supposedly, after taking the blessings of this Country both moral and monetary and then spit in our faces after the fact, who think they know a BETTER WAY.
I served in the Military of this Nation and was proud to do so just so I didn't have to listen to subversives who try to impress their individual dogmas on the impressionable young who will be the defenders of this Country far and long after my passing.

Hey Omar, Americans have a RIGHT to be poor, even though our government attempts to help them. And the America legal immigrants come here for is an America of opportunities. Whether one takes advantage of the opportunities is a personal choice. If her family did not like what they saw in America, they didn't have to stop here. Most Americans would have been glad if the family had kept going until they found a country they liked.
This Somali-victim rant will make it so much easier to put the boot to her when she's convicted of immigration fraud and campaign finance violations.
Send her back to Somalia since she hates it here..
Maybe she can dream of the ideal Somalia or Iran and let the Americans dream of a great America.

Well, you have been programmed correctly.
I absolutely hate that woman. Every time I hear that voice I want to strangle that pencil neck enemy of the U.S.
She doesn't have to go back from whence she came but she does have to leave the U.S.A.
