Check the metal buyers in Delaware it was cast bronze from Turner Sculptures so it is worth 35 cents a pound.
It was either sold for junk price or it was taken as a college student prank in which case it might magically re-appear.
Wow that had to be at least 25 years ago. A friend of mine had the bird land on him and walked out. Once the news and police were all over it he put it in the booth called 911 and closed the door.
