I'm sorry for the family's loss. I lived across the street from the sheriffs department where he worked and lived. His son was my best friend. His dad was a good man, a good sheriff, and treated the prisoners with respect (the sheriff's office, house, and jail were all in the same building back then). Sheriff Tyler was also the warden for the jail. Wow, times have changed. Sheriff Tyler's professional picture sure brings back memories of him and his family. My condolences to the family. And especially to Chris, if you're reading this. I still live in Snow Hill, and you know who I am.
