Wife of math teacher says 'cultural confusion' led husband to play beer pong with students

GAITHERSBURG, Md. (ABC7) — The wife of a high school math teacher accused of playing beer pong with his students says "cultural confusion" led her husband to make an innocent mistake, which could now cost him his job.

Two weeks ago, Quince Orchard High School teacher Tadesse Goshime attended a graduation party at a home in Montgomery County. The family hosting the celebration had invited the 66-year-old because their child enjoyed interacting with him at school.

Upon entering the home, someone suggested Goshime mingle with a group of teens that had gathered in the basement. Goshime reportedly left the party approximately 30 minutes later with little fanfare.

What is cultural about being a responsible adult ? Oh never mind our entire culture is based on impulsiveness and immediate pleasures responsible and otherwise.

Northwest Woodsman: Not worth commenting on other than I would not want my children taught anything by this man. Totally inappropriate and deserves to be fired.
