She is trying to get her ducks in a row for 2020. Her ego is much larger than and perceived love for America or its legal citizens.
She can try to back paddle and pander now but her barrel has gone over the falls. She needs to go away and be grandma and enjoy their adoration while she can because by the time they are old enough to understand things the unpretty truth about her will be accepted history.
