California professor Christine Ford claims Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her

The woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault came forward with her explosive allegations on Sunday, saying the supposed attack "derailed me substantially for four or five years" and claiming that the episode rendered her "unable to have healthy relationships with men."

The woman, Christine Ford, is a professor at Palo Alto University, according to The Washington Post, which published her account on Sunday.

Republicans immediately pushed back Sunday, saying it was "disturbing" that the decades-old allegations surfaced just days before the Judiciary Committee is set to vote on whether to advance Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Senate floor.

"It’s disturbing that these uncorroborated allegations from more than 35 years ago, during high school, would surface on the eve of a committee vote after Democrats sat on them since July," Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said in a statement.

"If Ranking Member Feinstein and other Committee Democrats took this claim seriously, they should have brought it to the full Committee’s attention much earlier," he continued. "Instead, they said nothing during two joint phone calls with the nominee in August, four days of lengthy public hearings, a closed session for all committee members with the nominee where sensitive topics can be discussed and in more than 1,300 written questions."

Grassley called on Feinstein to publicly release the letter she received in July, "so that everyone can know what she’s known for weeks." He added that the sudden reveal of the allegations "raises a lot of questions about Democrats’ tactics and motives" and noted that no similar allegations had surfaced in Kavanaugh's past despite six separate federal background checks throughout his career.

Some interesting tidbits...
Kavanaugh's mother was the judge of the foreclosure proceedings of Christina's parents. You can find the case through MD case search. Her brother Ralph Jr. was a partner at BakerHostetler when the law firm started to represent the Clinton Foundation. BakerHostetler has represented the Clinton Foundation since 2003.

Never fails!!!! Just like with cops, they use carte blanche resisting on all of their charges when dealing with someone, here is the typically carte blanche politicians use, some sexual thing from 50 years ago depending how old you are... Also isn't there a law called statue of limitations???? I think well over 30 years covers that...

You are correct 10:47. This woman is bought and paid for. We need to hang all the politicians and judges and start fresh. The system is so upside down there is no way to fix it. The mere fact this information was sat on by a standing Democratic Senator says it all. This is all a total fabrication to buy time.

I bet she won't take a lie detector test. Lying ass Biotch!

1238, if you can take time to comment, you could atleast take time to stay informed. It was already reported she DID take an FBI lie detector test and passed. This isn't a comment supporting or being against the woman or the nominee. I just wish most of you would shut your mouth on any of these topics until you can develop an informed opinion.

This just in, anonymous sources confirm that he also colored outside of the lines in second grade. When asked for comment Sen. Fienstein stated "This is a lifetime appointment to the highest court in the land and we can't have someone who would stoop so low to color outside of the lines and BCM "Black Crayons Matter." Film at 11.

of course he did, along with any other future nominees!

1:35 If you're counseling people to stay informed, try it yourself.

She has been reported to have taken a privately administered polygraph and to have responded accurately to whether she believed her story. That's it. Not the FBI, which has declined to take any action on scheming senator Feinstein's referral to them. No mention if her polygraph session covered any other questions. Her well connected Democrat supporter lawyer steered her to the polygraph moment. Same lawyer defended Bill Clinton's actions in exposing himself to Paula Jones and asking her for a Lewinsky moment.

This is a set-up, in my estimation. Too many convenient 'remembered but foggy and uncorroborated memories' and pronto access to Democrat big wigs.

The political schemers who've engineered this should be shunned. Our republic deserves so much more than their unthrottled quest for power.
