Judicial Crisis Network on Sunday responded to the accusations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, questioning both the timing and the allegation made against him just days before the Senate is set to vote on his confirmation.
JCN's Chief Counsel and Policy Director Carrie Severino responded to a Sunday article in The Washington Post quoting Christine Blasey Ford, who says a drunken Kavanaugh attempted to sexually assault her at a party in 1982 when he was 17 and she was 15.
Severino pointed to letters from dozens of women who knew Kavanaugh at the time who said the actions were completely opposite of the type of person they knew him to be. Democrats, Severino said, are "doubling down on a strategy of character assassination" to prevent someone who follows the Constitution from being placed on the court.

This is reminiscent of Clarence Thomas's nomination and the accusations of sexual misconduct in the workplace, all of which turned out to be baloney. And now we're going down the same road, but for an alleged incident that happened in high school? More baloney.
Does anyone - and i mean anyone - really care if he was promiscuous when he was drunk in high school? Seriously? Name one man who was not trying to get into a girls pants at parties in high school. OK, that one, but that doesn't count, he's gay.
How in God's name is that going to affect how he interprets the constitution?
I don't believe it nor buy it. Even if it were true, I would vote to confirm him because of his history from that point to 35 years later. His good family shouldn't have to put up with this false crap being spread about their husband and father.
In Justice Thomas's own words. "This is just a high tech lynching".
It doesn't matter the color.
Some people will do anything for money...
