Breaking News: President Trump will order that the opioid addiction crisis be deemed a public health emergency, freeing money and easing laws to address it

President Trump on Thursday will announce he is directing his Department of Health and Human Services to declare the opioid crisis a public health emergency, senior administration officials said, a move that would free up some federal money and ease certain laws and regulations to address a rapidly escalating epidemic of drug use in the United States.
Mr. Trump’s long-anticipated directive, to be announced in an address at the White House on Thursday afternoon, would fulfill a vow that he made when he assumed office to make tackling opioid abuse one of his top priorities, but has so far taken limited action to carry out.

Right here in our area there are "organizations" paid to address this problem BUT from what I hear there are too many people in the room to work with them properly. ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!
