It should read that SOME students walked out of class. There are over 3500 students at these two schools, where in the larger of the two, minority enrollment is over 90%. In the smaller, where only 800 students attend, it's 50%.

The other 3000 students stayed in class and, hopefully, learned something.

Don't let the news lead you by the nose, or any other organ.

What a load of CRAP. Enough is enough! Suspend every damn student, period. I'm tired of this liberal, if I can't get my way I'm going to rebel. I'm telling you, this crap keeps up and I'm afraid someone is going to get hurt. John Wayne is rolling over in his grave. This is AMERICA people, NOT transgenderville.

"...the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Part of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.

4:47, fine, where's the PERMITS, especially for the school. Liberal teachers allowing students to walk out and break the law.

If you're under the age of 18 you do not have these rights because you are not able to get the permit your parents have to. That law is in place because children do not have the mental state to make educated decisions it's the law

These people are not US citizens, they are here illegally, therefore they have no rights to assembly nor any entitlement to Our Bill of Rights. Round them up and deport them immediately. And all you progressive communist had better lay low and quite so your not mistaken for a anti-American foreigner and taken away in the dark of night like a statue.

Disrupting school functions are not peaceful protest it's disorderly conduct. If and I mean if you are going to protest your actions can't impede any normal functions of none protesters if so you have broken the law. There is a right way and a wrong way this is a classic example of the wrong way.

I'm on your side but I have always wondered why we need permits to exercise our rights. I know it's commonplace and required for most places and reasons but it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Like needing a permit to exercise our 2nd amendment right.

But walking out of class, even to "peacefully assemble" outside, seems counter productive to me. Wouldn't it be better to educate yourselves and learn how to change things you don't like instead of disrupting everyone near you and then stand around trashing the place, chanting, whining, crying for SOMEONE else to make your life better?

Why can't they just do it themselves, AFTER they learn how, IN CLASS.
